SUMMARY:8th ANNUAL KENTUCKY TOYOTA TRAIL RIDE (KTTR)
DESCRIPTION:The Kentucky Toyota Trail Ride (KTTR) is one of the largest and most scenic Toyota Land Cruiser Association (TLCA) – sanctioned events in the eastern U.S.\, now entering its 8th year of backcountry adventure and off-road camaraderie. Hosted by Kentucky Toyota Land Cruiser Association (KYTLCA)\, this multi-day event draws Toyota and Lexus 4WD enthusiasts from all across the country to explore the legendary terrain of Kentucky’s Red River Gorge\, Daniel Boone National Forest and Backcountry Byway. \nAll Toyota and Lexus vehicles equipped with a factory or aftermarket 4WD transfer case are invited—including Land Cruisers\, FJ Cruisers\, Tacomas\, 4Runners\, Tundras\, Sequoias\, GXs\, and LXs to name a few. \nExpect a variety of guided and self-guided trail runs over terrain that ranges from beginner-friendly forest roads to challenging rocky climbs and creek crossings. The Red River Gorge area offers sandstone ledges\, tight wooded switchbacks\, slick red clay\, creek beds\, and boulder gardens\, making it a perfect proving ground for your Toyota. \nKTTR is about more than just wheeling—each night brings our community together around the fire for food\, stories\, and shared passion for exploration. Whether you’re looking to test your rig’s limits or just want a scenic trail ride with friends and family\, KTTR is where Toyota 4WD culture comes to life. \nAll proceeds from the event go directly to the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway Maintenance Fund. This fund supports the ongoing work of maintaining\, preserving\, and advocating for access to the historic unmaintained county roads and trail systems in the region. These efforts ensure that the routes we enjoy today remain open and accessible for future generations of off-roaders\, overlanders\, and outdoor enthusiasts. \nThe official Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway map can be purchased at: \n https://www.cartotracks.com. \nhttps://www.gaiagps.com \nCallie’s Lake and Campground\nCamp Arrival Instructions: \nUpon arrival at the campground\, please check in and pay for your campsite at the Camp Store.
